My dark brown hair turned carrot top Orange after I stripped it. I need help getting it to look natural not dark.

What color are you wanting? I've read that the rule of thumb is to go 2-3 shades lighter than the color you want to end up with.

Did you use color remover or bleach? Color removers only remove previously deposited color (dye). Bleach will turn your hair that bright orange color. When I wanted to go dark blonde the girl at Sally Beauty told me to double process it with bleach. Your best bet, Is to go to a pro. If they mess it up, you can demand that they fix it. If you're determined to do it yourself, go to a beauty supply store and ask questions about what to use. Just remember to go 2 levels lighter than what you want.
