Am I safe to start Loestrin 30 on the 3rd day of bleeding in my Yasmin 7day break?

Hi! I have recently been changed from the Yasmin contraceptive pill to Loestrin 30. I am on my seven day break from Yasmin and began bleeding on Sunday (it is now Tuesday), if I start taking Loestrin 30 tonight will I be immediately protected or do I need to use extra methods for 7 days?
