    First mistake in douching.
I am 21yrs old, and I tend to have irregular menstrual cycles which isn't the topic. My fiancˇ and I had sex and unprotectedly climaxed together. However, within a hour or so I mistakenly douched (first time use) to prevent myself from getting a odor from the semen.I am afraid that I might have caused myself at great risk of having ectopic or other conditions which is scary. If I should conceive and become pregnant. WHAT SHOULD I DO? Because, I only did this once by accident. I hope I am not endangering myself for making one mistake.

Douching is dangerous whether it's after sex or not. Forget douching don't ever do it.

If you had sex within the last 24-36 hours get the Plan B to prevent pregnancy as douching can actually increase chances of pregnancy.

Since I only done it once. Is there a great chance that I might be at great risk? Pregnancy doesn't scare me. I am just scared that I might have put myself through a dangerous situation of only douching one time.

    Douching Prt 2
Since I douched by accident an 1 1/2 hour ago to prevent myself from smelling due to semen inside me; which I didn't know that it can cause an ectopic pregnancy. However, the next day, I had sex again and didn't douche. After sex, hours later I took Plan B exactly what the box has told me to do. Is it a possibility, that I can still have an ectopic pregnancy even though I took Plan B in less than three days?

Why ectopic pregnancy? Do you know what that is?

Plan B is not 100 percent effective, so taking it, while it greatly reduces the chance of a viable pregnancy, does not stop it completely.

Because, I have read why douching is bad. It said, that the flow of solution can push the sperm and can sometimes cause the egg to become fertile and attach itself on the outside of the womb or the fallopian tube. @ Wondergirl

So, it's a possibility that I can get pregnant even though I took Plan B to prevent it?@ Fr_Chuck

Plan B only works to prevent a pregnancy. If conception already occurred before you took plan B, there is nothing it can do to stop pregnancy.
