Sorry everyone don't know how to spell it. But I have a 1 yr old toco bell dog lol and I can't get her house broke I have tried everything hen I first got her she was using a litter box well brought it home and later moved it. Well then she just does it every where tried the outside thing well she will not go out there when its snowin or rainin in summer I leave her out there for 20 minutes bring her in andshe does it in house please help I'm going nuts and about to get rid of her

If you want to try to use the litter box, treat it like the outdoor spot. Please don't give up on your Chihuahua.

Take her outside on a leash. Don't just let her run around by herself. If the weathers too bad for you and you let her know it, she will hate it too. Bundle up and go out with her. On your day off, take her out once every hour. Tell her to "go potty" or what ever word you want to use. Give her ten minutes. If she doesn't go, bring her back in and keep doing this every hour. When she does go, tell her how good she is! Keep this up and she will figure it out.

Also be sure and feed her at specific times each day. That way you have some idea about when she will need to go. Feed morning and evening and don't leave food out all day.

Don't give up on her. She is not doing this on purpose, she is confused. You need to let her know what you want and be patient. Also you might call your local humane society. Sometimes they have people there that can give you advice.

Any spot she uses in the home, clean it well and feed her on that spot. Meaning when it is time to feed the dog. Place the food bowl on the spot she went to the bathroom. This will discourage her from going there again. I dog does not want to go potty where it has to eat.

You need to go out with the dog and through her a party when she does the right thing outside. Give her a treat. So she learns that doing potty outside is what you want.
You need to keep the schedule consistent. Feed her at the same times, take her out at the same times.

You need to start from scratch like she is a puppy.
