I have a 5 month old and 3 yr old with my ex, the oldest go every weekend, but him leaving me 3 months pregnant with the youngest I'm over pertective with him , can I choose as a mother when to let him go with him ? He sees him every week at my house but I'm not ready to let him take him , where do I stand ?

If he's got court ordered visitation... then no you can't impose your own restrictions on him.

If he doesn't right now and you push hard enough he might go and get it. So keep in mind you might be provoking a confrontation you might not like the results of.

Now with that said... I do understand what you are saying... most good dads are just as protective of their children as a good mom is.

Try to not push personal issues you have with him into the parental relationship with the children... it only harms the child.

As Smoothy says, it depends on whether there is a custody and visitation order.

If he has a court ordered visitation, you have to let the child go, The child is 3, why are you not letting the child go ?
