    Just in but want out
The toilet has been clogged twice since moving into this 1960 ranch house the first time it was plnged then OK this time it won't unclog it just pushes its water into the tub. Took out toilet to snake the line but that did not work either please help. Thanks

If the water form the commode is going into the tub that means that the sewer line is stopped up some where further down the line. Snaking through the opening where the commode sits is not the best place to snake a drain especially the main drain. It would be best to find a clean out or to find the vent on top of the house and go down that pipe to get to the stoppage. Are there other things stopped up besides the commode and the bath tub. If not it should not be very far to the clog. But if other things are stopped up it could be down the line as much as 50 to 75 feet depending how long you line is.
