OK I'm 21 and my periods late by 8 days took pregnancy test and negative I'm scared something's wrong but I'm afraid to go to the doctor I have a discharge it clear and doesn't have a oder and its kind of stringy and I'm kind of cramping my stomach hurts and is some what tight I'm very tired and moody all the time please help me please I'm very upset and don't know what to do I don't have te money to go to the doctor

Give it another week and then deff go see a doctor. If there's no chance you could be pregnant... aka you have not had sex in the last 2 months then you're good as far as being pregnant is concerned. If you have had sex, you could still be pregnant even if the home test was negative (this is rare but it really depends on your HcG levels). Being up to 2 weeks late is fairly common especially when your stressed, have had a diet change, or weight loss.
Irregular periods could also be a sign of something else going on like a thyroid problem or other ailment. So if you do totally miss it and are really worried don't be cheap when it comes to your health and go see a doctor.

In the main time, if you're just late it could help induce your period if you eat more vitamin C : oranges, parsley, and broccoli. This would address any problems with the dietary side of it.

You could just be late. I agree with the above poster. Wait a week, and if nothing happens then go to doc. You can go to your local planned parenthood for low cost medical care or any other health clinic. It is possible for women to not test positive on a HPT for several days after missed period. But it is also common for women to be irregular, especially if there is stress present. Good luck!
