My grown children's father owed over $38,000.00 in back child support. I just found out the he was receiving disability payments before he passed away about 2 weeks ago. I know he did not have a will nor did he have any money. Will I ever see any of this back owed child support? Will social security pay any of the back child support since the children are 20 and 22?

You would be able to receive it. If you tried filing for child support and it is documented, then you will. All you have to do is go to the child support office and they will help you with it.

Social Security will not pay child support, sorry.
