Installing a remote receiver to a 2 wall switch fan configuration
I am trying to install a hunter remote along with the fan. I for the life of my can't figure it out. Here is what I have:
    From Ceiling:
Red wire, Black Wire, White Wire

    Reciever:
    White Wire Labeled: Neutral In
    Black Wire Labeled: Live In
    ----
    Red wire labeled: Light out
    White Wire labeled: Common out
    Black Wire labeled: Fan out

    Fan:
    White wire
    Black Wire
    Black/white wire

When we built the house 8 years ago the election installed two switches for the fan. Switch 1 for the fan moter, switch 2 for the light kit.

Not using the receiver I can hook up the wires black to black white to white red to black/white and everything works as expected for switch one and switch 2. so how do I hook up the remote receiver to this configuration?

You mention 2 wall switch, I am only guessing 1 goes to the red at the ceiling and the other switch goes to the black at the ceiling, if so verify which is the switched one, cap the unused wire.
So if black is a switched wire, cap the red, and connect the black wire at the ceiling to the Black wire labeled Live In(on receiver), and the white at the ceiling to the Neutral In(on receiver).
Then red out of receiver to black/white(light), and black from receiver to fan black.
Then the white out of receiver to the fans white.
DO NOT connect all whites together. Whites in and out of receiver do not connect together.

Please be patient with me. Yes, the one switch is red and the other switch is black. Inside the wall switch box it looks like all the white wires are connected together. When I take the remote out of the equation and hook the fan up directly and turn both switches on, then discconte the red wire from the ceiling the light goes off, if I do the black wire, the fan goes off and if I disconnect the white wire, both the fan and light turns off.

I tired your recommended hook up and nothing worked.

Be sure both wall switches are on and the code on the receiver and transmitter match.
Verify Pull chains are in the correct position
