I went to the dr and I got a ultrasound and they seen the sac but no fetal pole What does that mean I'm worried I am suppose to be 5weeks

Is your doctor concerned?

The fact is, unless you're absolutely sure of your ovulation date, then there's a huge room for error when guessing gestation.

It could be that you're not at 5 weeks and it's too early to see fetal development.

If you're very sure that you're 5 weeks (you know your ovulation date, or when you conceived), then no fetal pole would indicate miscarriage. But, if you're off on the calculation of 5 weeks gestation, it could be nothing more than the fact that it was too early to detect.

Talk to your doctor about this. There's really no way for us to give you an accurate answer, we don't know your menstrual cycle, or other health concerns. If your doctor didn't express concern then ask him/her what's going on. That's what you pay for.
