Okay, so I went on my friends Facebook because I don't have it. I only went on it to talk to my friend because she was coming over that day. Anyway, my friend rung me on Skype and showed me that my best friend sent a message to her saying: "you do realize that I hate u 2 now", so it's the easter term now but she's meant to be coming over for a sleepover next week. What shall I say/do to her?

You say and do nothing - I wouldn't even let her know I knew anything about the entire matter and I particularly wouldn't let her know it concerned me.

I'd do what I suggested - act natural and don't rise to the bait.

The skye could have been faked, and I will assume you are younger children, so often things are said that are not meant. They may have been mad over something at the moment

No, don't play it cool if she's supposed to be coming over to YOUR house and spend the night. Talk to her about it before she comes over, then you would know everything about what's going on. Why let a person who hates you into your own house?

I don't think that confronting the friend is a good idea, it will only make matters worse, for a few reasons. First reason, it would mean having to admit that the other friend shared a private message with the OP (original poster) that the sleepover friend obviously didn't want her to see. Second, they sound very young, and young girls get mad at each other on a minute to minute basis, and then forget it just as quickly.

Unless the friend calls to say she's cancelling the sleep over, I see no reason to mention this. I really wouldn't advise admitting that you saw a personal message that was sent to someone else.

True, well if you want to have the sleepover then go for it, but if you're not sure then maybe cancel the night?

It's all OK, my friend told me she didn't post that thing saying "u do realize i hate u 2 now", it was someone who hacked her. Thanks anyway :)
