Turned ac off in October and didn't use the heater all winter pulled the fuse on unit. Went to turn on wouldn't turn on remembered the fuse replaced it and it still won't turn on. What wrong with this unit the thermostat clicks as if ingaging but the outside unit won't turn on. Any suggestions. Thank you

1.does the blower motor come on inside when asking for cool and when you select from auto to on?


2.Dumb question but did you check circuit breakers at box? Sounds like you put the disconnect back in so that's good but,

3 Another kind of dumb question but it happens, some disconnects will go in even though they have a 'on and off' side to them. Just to make sure you put it back in with the 'on' on top. This video shows that type and I have done this myself before...

If you still are having trouble and have a meter you can check at the line side of the contactor to see if you are getting 240v.
