    Testing for STDs
Hello, I had a sexual encounter with a female partner last April. Oral sex was the only sexual act involved. I then got tested in July and all my tests came back negative. Do I need to get tested again for hiv? This female is not known to be positive, I'm just trying to be on the safe side. What are the chances of contracting hiv? How accurate is an hiv test after 2 months, and not three?
I've read forums, but there are different views being communicated. Thank you.

Are you asking about all STDs or just HIV? Your Physician should tell you how often to be tested.

The best site I've found is the Center for Disease Control - HIV Transmission | Questions and Answers | CDC HIV/AIDS
