I have been on birth control since last may. I have not been great about taking it at the same time every day or even every day so for this reason my husband and I have used condoms. I started a new pack last Sunday (march 18th) after my period started.
Since starting this new pack I have turned over a new leaf and have been taking it at the same time and every day. On Sunday March 25th my husband and I had unprotected sex and he finished inside me. I am now nervous about the possibility of being pregnant. I know that I run that risk and we want kids just not right now. Please let me know if I was protected. Thank you

Most likely you are protected... although pregnancy is always possible even with correct use. It can depend on which pill you use. Some offer protection sooner than others. Since you had been taking them, albeit not always on time, you would have some protection from prior use.

You'll have to wait until your next period would be due and see what happens. Adding condoms would lower your chances even more, but I know most couples will use the pill on its own.
