I did not finish alternative measures and then my charge was withdrawn. When applying for a job with my criminal record check clear?

I do not understand how charges were withdrawn, if you were given alternative methods, normally that is considered a conviction till the measures are done then charges are dropped at that time, If you do not finish, then the conviction stands.

But if all charges were really withdrawn ( case dropped) it should not be on your criminal record.

Looks like some sort of diversion program.

Unless the case has been expunged, a records check may still catch it. And police databases may also still have it.
