I recently bought a used mower. I bought whit it needing a belt and a pulling and a battery anyway got it home (before doing any work) jumped started it and it ran fine drove it around the yard didn't have the funds to fix yet so I put it in the builing I started it up about a week later fan ust fine.. Week later a put in a new battery new pulley and belt no fire won't crank battery is charched and connection are in good shape no clue what to do

No model given, so did you hook the batery up backwards. Description saya something not hooked up right. Often there is a separate smaller red wire that energizes the wiring harness and most go to the positive terminal of the battery.
