    Pregnant with ITP
If I am pregnant and I have ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenia)its a blood disease . I am I OK to have a baby? I am 19 and I got it when I was 12 . Should I be scared that I won't stop bleeding after having the baby?

You should be fine. The doctors will monitor your platelet levels closely during your pregnancy.

I actually have 4 family members with ITP, but theirs is Ideopathic Thrombocytopenia Purpura. They have all given birth without difficulty. Most recently my niece gave birth in December, the only complication she had was that her platelets were too low for her to get an epidural.
