Kenmore dryer 97273100 how do I light the pilot light - need to know hot to access it

How old is this dryer? Are you sure there is a pilot?

It should have an igniter, but if dryer is dirty it will not light. You may need to clean it and find the safety fuse and check it with an ohm meter to see if it's burned open. When dryer overheats due to dirt the safety burns open.

There is no pilot. If there is no heat, either the igniter is broken or dirty. This model is about 17 years old as of 2009.
