    Hi janedoe1112,

While pregnancy can happen anytime in a cycle, there are times when it is more likely and times when it is less likely. It will depend on when someone happens to ovulate.

Sex a few days before your period is due, is not likely to result in a pregnancy. You would need to wait until your next period would be due and see what happens however.

A word of caution... it sounds as though you used a condom, then it was removed after ejaculation, and then he re-entered? Is this correct? If so, this can increase the odds of pregnancy because once sperm have been released in an ejaculation, you have a greater chance of more still being present in the penis. With re-entry, this can allow those remaining to enter the vagina. Even though you used a condom, the re-entering after an ejaculation is one of the main reasons the withdrawal method fails couples.

What signs are you experiencing? Have you missed a period?

Why did you waste your time using a condom the first time, if you did not the second.

No form of birth control is 100 percent, and sex so close to a period, can at times still have that period ( but not as common) So can you be ? Yes, most likely not, but yes it is possible.

You now will need to wait till time for your next period and see if you have a period or not.
