When you file for dissablity do you have to pay child support durning this time.

You continue to pay support until a court orders it stopped. You have to go to court for a modification of the support order due to changed circumstances.

You go to family court now and prove you have no or little income and ask for payments to be reduced.

You can not stop making payments till family court orders you don't have to pay.

Many times your disability may be denied, just applying does not really mean anything.
