    Removing or expunging a class c felony in Missouri
    I plead guilt to a breaking and entering charge when I was two weeks out of high school in 1990. I was a dumb kid and took a stupid plea agreement. I am 40 years old now, a business owner and a convicted felon (class c). It still does not seem real. Can I get this record expunged? Attouney says no, FBI says its my only option to ever work in law enforcement or own a firearm.

    Hello Dr.:

    Not all states offer expungement, but even if it did, the cops will see it on your background investigation... So, will the BTAF when you apply for a gun permit. An expungement doesn't HIDE your record from law enforcement - only civilians.
