If I'm on disability how do I pay back a tenant deposit if court ordered?
My landlord is going to have to go to court with me. He has my deposit and has no way of giving it back to me. I will have to take him to court, I don't want to but have too. I know I will win for sure. Been here 4 months, no damage, whatever... there's no reason to keep it and I even said he cann keep 80.00 of it to cover cleaning if he wanted but here is the question

We go to court: Court orders him to pay, he is on disability and its his only income. Will they deduct my deposit from his income if its court ordered? How would they make him pay if there is no money?
Will they say OK you win and he has to pay you and bye bye with no sort of payment plan? Am I asking this question correctly? I'm so overwhelmed, thanks for any advise I can get.

You merely win, then it is your trouble or problem to find the money, if your location allows, you try and find his checking or savings account and attach them.
