My toilet moves from side to side
I am doing some remodeling in my bathroom and while I was removing a pedestal sink from the wall I bumped into my toilet and the front of the toilet moved about an inch to the left and I was easily able to move it back into it's original position. I am guessing I have to take the toilet off, and re-seat it and wanted to check here before going through all that trouble.

I'm not a plumber, just a klutzy do-it-yourselfer. I've done this, and I highly recommend reseating the toilet before you find out the hard way that the seal is broken. LOL

All you may have to do is tighten the flange bolts down. Snug up the bolts and flush the toilet a few times. If you don't see any leakage from the base then you should be OK. If there's leakage then you could purchase a new wax seal and reset the toilet. But try tightening the bolts first.Good luck, Tom
