I stop taking birth control back in Aug. And since then I barely have gotten any periods maybe once every 2to 3 mouths... what's going on with my body? Am only 28years old and I normally have a period every 28 days for about 5 days.and am not pregnant.

Depending on the birth control, it can take time for your body to get back to normal.

If this is a concern, and something that wasn't outlined in the birth control you were taking, I would say that it's time to see your doctor to find out for sure what's going on.
