I guess your clarification is correct. To be honest I don't know starting point to search for serious life partner. I am looking for some practical suggestions. Dating sites, clubs and websites are casual encounter places. Since its new place I don't have much contacts. Since I am working(recently joined), there isn't lot of contact with age group I am looking for. I get "one night stand" options in clubs but seriously I hate that. So, I don't know starting point for my search!

Stop looking for a girl and make friends, and build a life that you enjoy, and get some fun activities in your life. Never know who has a friend of a friend. More interactions is my suggestion and don't be afraid of maybe an older crowd. Keep the mind open, and make some plans for local events and explore your new world. Forget the bars, bowling alleys and pool halls, even Karaoke, is where its at if you like natural fun interaction.

Hiking, biking, sports. Volunteer even, a class. The more you do, the more you mix! Get busy, leave that computer stuff to geeks. Get a life, a happy one, then you will attract others to share it with. Who looks for love? WHY? Let it find you, as you enjoy your youth!
