How do I get sleep when I have a dog that constantly barks all the time?

Find out why he is barking. Dogs bark for a few reasons - they are lonely, hungry, have to go outside to do their bathroom duties, maybe they sense someone outside and are trying to let you know, and then there is the dog that just will not shut up no matter what you do for him/her. I had one of the latter - a basset hound. Putting him outside was definitely a no-go, keeping him inside did not help, having him come upstairs and sleep in the hall was not the brightest idea, my son took him into his room and that did not work either. So I have a lot of sympathy for you.

Have you consulted your vet? Could be that there is something physically wrong with your dog. Always best to check when in doubt and in need of help.

Wishing you the best of luck. While I never did get that dog to keep quiet, I found him a home 20 miles out in the country where he could bark day and night and no one cared.

I know that they now have a shockcoller for dogs that bark.I don't know anything about it because I've never used nor seen it.I've only heard a story about a man putting it on and then he couldn't talk.
