My intercity furnace has the General 90 50A 50 110. It seems to operate correctly. I measure 24volts AC at the transformer input to the board. The red light only flashes on when power is connected. The furnace gas does not light. Is there a relay to turn on the spark?

I found the answer. The ignitor for the gas was burned out and had to be replaced.
