I got a new battery an it still will not start

Hi,
Main culprits besides the battery are the key switch and the solenoid. Both are mechanical and subject to wear/failure. If you have and now how to use a VOM, check for battery voltage at the solenoid and the switch. That voltage should come out of the switch and go to the solenoid when in the Start position. Unfortunately this is a general rule and not always the case (ground used in the circuit.)
