    Hooking up a portable dishwasher
How can I hook up my portable washer permanently?

First you must have the cabinet space to recess the unit. Then you must run a drip loop and connect to either the disposal or a branch tailpiece on the sink drain and lastly connect the hot water off the sink supply. Good luck, Tom

In addition to Tom's advice... It is quite tricky to convert portable DW hook up to permanent hook up. Have done it couple of times. You will need to modify hoses and drain. Hopefully you are handy or know somebody who is to accomplish this installation. Also, dimension of portable DW are different than the build-in one. So you will need few moldings to cover the gaps. But it can be done. Good luck and let us know how you did. Back to you. Milo

Depending on your brand of dishwasher, most manufacturers make a conversion kit to go from portable to built in, which will make the job easier along with Tom's and Milo's recommendations.
