So my boyfriend and I have been dating for about 2 weeks now and when we first started to talk he would always text me smiley faces and would keep up a conversation but like last weekend he started to become distant not just through texts but also when we were together and when I confronted him about it and told told him he was making me feel like he was losing interest in me he said he wasn't and that he just gets like that sometimes and that he is just scared of getting hurt again and I said I was too so since then he has been better in person and like gives me kisses and hugs and stuff like that but through texts its just like he doesn't want to talk and has stopped calling me babe and stuff. Idk maybe I shouldn't be worried as much as I am, but it bothers me.. I just need advice.

Tone it down a notch or two. You'll drive him away. Most guys are action people, not talkers like girls are. Books have been written about these two differences in relating. Check at your library, call number 646.

Handle your own insecurities, and don't put them on him. Enjoy the in person time, and understand the text limits.

Don't make a big deal out of him not being the romantic text partner. Good partners accept the flaws of each other, and you are insecure, and clingy, over texts?!
