    Breaker trip
When I take a shower (water heater running) and my dryer is running, the breaker that is marked "dryer" in my panel trips. The dryer will continue to run, but will not be hot. What my be the cause of this, and how can I repair it?

    parttime
Hi dgibson, your dryer and water heater need to be on separate circuits, with proper wire and breaker for each. There will be an expert along shortly to give a better answer. Hang tight and good luck.

I agree with parttime, although I'm also concerned that the
Dryer circuit breaker trips and the dryer still runs...
You say then it just doesn't get hot? I've never seen a dryer
Motor and heater elements supplied by separate circuit breakers...

Besides separating the circuits, if they are connected to the same circuit breaker,
I would like an electrician to verify they are both wired correctly, something
    Doesn't sound right.

That is very strange. Dryer should totally shut off unless someone has used 2 separate breakers. You need to have someone looking at how the power is distributed from the breaker box.
