    Once a person has been convicted, he doesn't have any "speedy trial" rights any more.. Therefore, a PO can take as long as he chooses to schedule a hearing...

    He can't really waive the hearing, because the hearing is NOT for him.. It's for the DOC, so they can OFFICIALLY violate him.

    First it is a P.A.L. Warrant, Parole at Large Warrant,

    Agree, if your parole board will allow you to not appear in your defense at the hearing, ( but I doubt it) they will still have a hearing to decide what to do. The parole officer sends him to the board and has him arrested, the Board has to decide if there is enough reason to send him back to prison.

    And what does it matter, at this point he is either in jail or a parole holding center.
