Dr. Bill, first I'd like to say thank you for answering all the EtG questions and helping so many people. Your time and expertise are really appreciated.

I'm currently about to enter a diversion program and have my alcohol evaluation this Monday at 9AM. I've been pretty depressed over all this, drinking about 5-6 hard drinks(Long island iced teas, or shots... although sometimes beer) each night from Friday March 9th. My last drinks were 5-6 on Wed afternoon between 4:30-7:30, and 1 shot of vodka at Thursday at 2AM. I remember you saying EtG isn't cumulative?

Worst case scenario, (the 80 hour mark from my test) BAC=0 is Friday, this morning, at 1AM. Hopefully it reached 0 before that to bump it up closer to 90 or 96 hours.

Should I be all right? Thanks again for your advice!

I forgot to mention that I am a 5'7" male at 155-160lbs for body type.

There shouldn't be any EtG present and certainly no ethanol in your system at that time span. The alcohol in your system was metabolized within a range of 4.5 to 9 hours (BAC=0) from the Wed drinks, probably closer to the lower figure. The 1 shot on Thurs was gone within an hour or two.

I would appreciate it if you would report back after getting the results. This is exactly the drinking pattern that the test purports to detect... in ads, etc. Yet all of the studies disclose that it never detects moderate consumption at 80 hours. Have no doubt that you will be clean but your results would be a valuable addition.

Thanks again Dr.Bill. No urinalysis today but I did find out their EtG cutoffs for you considered to 'piss hot' is 500, so at least its not as bad as 100 or 250.
