Acai Berry chewing gum - Safe?
    I've seen these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Acai-Berry-Energy-Weight-Loss-Chewing-Gum-1-Pack-12-Pieces-6-grams-per-piece-/300674436569?pt=UK_Health_Beauty_Vitamins_Suppleme nts&hash=item460197cdd9#ht_3534wt_1139

They're supposed to help you lose weight.

Is it just as you're chewing, so your stomach feels like it's getting fed?

Or is it something in the ingredient?

    Yeah not so much.
More likely any weight lose is due to the motion of your mouth and light feeling in your wallet ;)

I don't want to lose weight, people have just said they have a lot of vitamins. I want the vitamin supplement part of it!

Acai berry is marketed as a super fruit packed with Vit C and other mystical properties, mostly marketing spin and excrement.
You'd be better off getting a good quality muti-vit pill or several.

Can't see why they wouldn't be safe. Also can't see why they would help you lose weight, acai berries have no weight loss properties. They are berries, just like strawberries or blueberries. Nutricious but won't cause weight loss.

One of my elderly library volunteers used to bring me a bag of dried acai berries and a bag of dried goji berries each week. He wanted me to be healthy and live forever. :)

The fact that you have something in your mouth -- chewing gum -- means you aren't eating, thus weight loss. Plus, you get vitamin C.

Safe? Apparently so as I'm not finding any reputable sites saying they are not safe.
    Weight Loss benefits? Probably nill.

If you are chewing acai berry gum, you are not eating -- the perfect weight loss system!

Arghhh I'd like to exaggerate I don't want to lose weight. I'm a healthy slim size 10, at 9.5 stone. I just want the vitamins!

I discovered them on an advert when I was browsing, and I googled and found a lot of "It's a scam" Sites. The reason I ask "Safe?" is as I found a woman who said she got heart palpitations from them.

Dani, just be sure to spit out the gum and eat once in a while. ;)

Her heart palpitations were probably from something else.

LOL. I'm thinking the acai pills are better than the gum for me. After all, it'll probably taste of fruit, and BLEURGH, I dunny like fruit.

But just think -- it will always be a pleasure to kiss you with your yummy-tasting breath.
