    Can cats tell if your pregnant? My cat is not a people person at all and would not leave me alone for the past 3 days... if anyone knows please tell me? Thank you

    I'm not sure about cats, but dogs can tell if someone is ill before they know it themselves, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if your cat could smell the hormonal changes of pregnancy.

    There's lots of studies out there that show that animals have a hightened sense to things that are "out of the ordinary". Take for instance a mother dog that refuses to nurse a puppy because it has a defect... they just know. I wouldn't take it as concrete evidence, but its definitely possible

    I have heard that most animals can sense when a woman is pregnant, the same way they can tell when another animal is pregnant, how no one seems to know.
