I'm currently trying to transfer a large amount of data (MP3'a mainly) from my in-laws old desktop to my mother-in-laws Mac. I plan on just simply sharing the data over our network. My laptop is connected to our wireless, but for some reason the desktop won't connect through our modem/router. I've attempted to set it up to the wireless through my laptop, but every help page I go to involves using a LAN connection link that doesn't exist in Network Connections. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I plan on using the desktop as a jumping off point for building my own rig, but need to get the data transferred.
