Hi, I'm a 36 year old female, whose never had sex, and have only kissed a guy once in a drunken stupor! My question is when do you tell a guy you're a virgin?
I've waited this long to have sex due to religion and self esteem issues.
However I no longer go to church and have been working on myself esteem and I am ready to move on with life
I am not waiting for 'that special someone' to have sex with, but I am having difficulty broaching the subject and how do I tell a guy, that I'm interested in a 'one night stand' but I'm still a virgin, without him thinking that there must be something wrong with me?

Choose your guy carefully, and wisely, because the emotional implications are emotionally great and can be intense and profound. Use protection, for your own safety, and keep the virgin info to yourself, and someone you trust.

A one night stand just to bust your cherry isn't the best way to go about it, nor the safest! Please, don't be in THAT much of a hurry. Why get hurt by a drunk who won't care?

Take it calm, choose carefully, you have waited this long, a few months to find a suitable guy won't kill you.

Please don't have sex yet you will regret it I am please be sure just think about it.

It sounds like you have gone from one end of the spectrum directly to the other. Why not take your time, date some men you find attractive and are interested in, and see what develops. There certainly is no rush.

Jumping so far from your moral compass will most likely backfire and you can't undo it once it is done.

Thanks for your wisedom :) I am starting learn that there are a lot of other ways to 'have fun' before taking that big jump.

Thanks for the help, update is: Told a guy and he was totally shocked, in a good way!! I think! And he's still hanging around... so off to a good start lol, and getting very educated at the same time, who knew...
