Was driving along in 1999 gmc jimmy,it just quit,can't hear fuel pump when you turn key on,changed relay,fuse is good,took tank off truck,hooked fuel pump up to battery and it makes noise?

. Test all under dash and under hood fuses with a test light or multimeter.

. Check for codes.

. Clean main ECM ground.

. Check the ignition switch for wear, pitting, or melting.
