I am 6 weeks pregnant and I am bleeding light brown with no clots. Hcg levels are rising normally, from 2554 DPO 19, 4800 DPO 21, 8804 DPO 23. Am I having a miscarriage or an ectopic pregnancy

Some women will have some light spotting or bleeding in early pregnancy. Occasional light brown is most often not a concern. However, it is always wise to let your doctor or midwife know anytime you have bleeding as they may want you to come in and have it checked.

Miscarriage is most often noted with red blood and often with strong cramping or pain.
