Hi! It sounds like we need to replace the bearing on our White Westinghouse washer / dryer combo. The high pitched screeching is intolerable. We do not have the instructions for our white westinghouse model#wlc275eso - do you know how to get at the bearing on these machines? Any help greatly appreciated! Thank you.

That is no problem. Make sure to buy a new belt and replace it as well, and buy some white lithium grease for all parts that will need grease, like the bearing. You will need to clean every part of the dryer or it will fail very quickly. Make sure to clean the blower and motor. You will need to remove blower wheel cover and clean the housing as well as the blower. All air ducts should be removed and washed out with a good soap and washed with water to remove all deposits. Make sure to clean and check the exhaust vent and hose, too.
