    Florida Rental Lease Question
I haven't renewed my lease in over two years, did it automatically revert to a month to month lease? Can I give a 30 day notice and end it without "breaking" the lease ?

Yes, unless your lease said something about automatic renewal.

That is up to YOUR lease, you will have to read it and see if there are any terms about automatic renewal. Many do. Others don't. If it renewed then you have a lease till the end of the term. If it did not renew it went to normally a 30 day rental.

You need to carefully read the old lease. When a lease term ends and you remain on the premises, you become a month-to-month tenant at the same terms and conditions as the old lease except for the time.

If your old lease had a clause that said you had to give more than 30 days notice that you would be leaving then that clause would still be in effect.
