How rare is unknown pregnancy?

Now a days, as I have asked my own questions among different forums, unknown pregnancy is almost becoming common in a lot of woman. But, I, however, find it hard to believe, though it does happen. It's one of those unexplained things that I, too, would like to know more about. :)
