In canada does a signed cheque need to be dated to be valid
Can an undated cheque signed by person who dies be a valid claim on the deceased estate or does it required to be dated?

First why was it not cashed, and how old is the check. It can of course be used to make a claim against the estate as a debt, but many issues will be viewed to it being valid.
