    Failed for the first time
    Hi there I am amer.
Iam presently doing my engg.I was topper since my childhood days, but things have changed now as no one in my class studies well(i.e they are interested in just passing the subjects). Iam failing nowadays due to lack of interest and motivation from my surroundings. There is really no competition left in the class.I have failed this time.
I tried my level best to study on my own motivation, but it ultimately fails each time.
I just want my days back...
I'll be thankful if anyone can help me out...

    Hi amer4411,

This is something that has to come from in you. You have to want to do well on your own and not rely on others around you to push you or motivate you, because, as you have seen, you won't always have that around you. You are failing due to your own lack of interest or motivation.

Compete with yourself. Now that you have not done well, challenge yourself to do better next time. Set a goal to work towards. Maybe you can find students in other classes to study with or compete with if that is what motivates you. If you don't have much interest in the subject, you will have to push yourself that much more to want to do well in it.

Did you get caught up in going out too much? Spending time with friends when you could have done some more studying? Has the subject material just become more challenging where before things may have been easier for you? Now you might really have to work at doing well... not just passing, but really doing well.

Figure out what you want to achieve, what you need to do in order to do that, and make that be your focus and drive to do better.

Sorry, it does not work that way, and you are making excuses for your own lack of ambition. If everyone else is failing, that is their issue. Next you said that everyone else just worries about getting by, but you are failing, it sound like they are all beating you with better grades, so you need to at least beat them, that is some competition. Next it may be the people you are with, not "everyone" in class.
