How do I abate child support from Florida that's being enforced by another state?
I recently survived 3 brain aneurysms and I am unable to work. What are my legal rights as a non custodial parent in regards to child support?

You have a legal obligation to support your children. However, child support is based on ability to pay. So you need to go to court and request a modification of the support order. You will need to prove your condition and income.

You have the right to file in court where the support order is issued. You file to modify the amount due according to your new income. Some states have MIN amounts that will be due.

Then you pay the amount ordered according to the new order after you take it to court. Till then you are obligated to pay the current amounts.
