I am a sixteen year old girl (almost seventeen) and I haven't had my period since Christmas. I am starting to get nervous because I know there is no chance at all that I would be pregnant because I am still a virgin. I just would like to know what is wrong with me. If you know of anything like this please let me know.

Sometimes it can just be due to being a teen. It is not uncommon for periods to be irregular in the teen years. The difficult part is that you don't know when to plan for one to show up, so it helps to make sure you are prepared with tampons or pads available with you.

Have you spoken to your mother, or a trusted adult, about it? You could see your doctor if you are concerned, but it is likely just your body still regulating to the changes in hormones.

Agree, while it is always great to worry when things change, but at this age that is not totally uncommon. Girls should be free to discuss these things with a mother or aunt or other trusted adult who can help.
