You CANNOT realistically lose that amount of weight in such a short space of time.

Well Haley, if your doctor asked you to lose 15kg, you must lose only 15. Losing 5 more may not be good for your health since you are still growing.

Did your doctor make any suggestions on how to lose this weight? You can get help from a dietician and work out. Since you are so young make sure that you don't cut off on essential nutrients.

15 kg isn't a reasonible amount in two months...

Any diet that isn't balanced and by that I mean, have you eat ALL food groups... isn't good for you.

If you try to lose too much too quick your body thinks its starving and lowers your metabolism... which makes it even harder to lose anything... and makes it exceptionally easy to put even more back on... you have to reduce your caloric intake a little... not a lot... you exercise more and that keeps your metabolism higher so you can actually lose it... but it takes time.

Try too much too fast and your body will react and make you put even more back on... thats a response to feast and famine that's built into your and everyone else's DNA as a survival tactic. So when food is scarce... you have a fighting chance to survive.

And for those diet ads you see onTV... they are all false... and play to the suckers... they get away with it by careful wording. Ever notice in the fine print they always say "in conjuntion with diet and exercise" well duh... do those two alone and you will lose weight and save money you aren't giving them for a worthless product.

Lay off the junk food... sweetened drinks completely... and you will usually find you will lose that weight over time.

Lower a little of your fats and sugar intake. Have at least one serving of fruits. And exercise, workout at least for an hour 3 times a week. You will start losing weight, slowly, but healthily.

As everyone said here, 2 months is too short a time span to lose so much weight. Eat light dinner, keep exercising and make sure you NEVER QUIT.

    All the best dear! :)

Hi I'm 12 almost 13 and I just weighed myself and I weigh like 99 pounds... I'm also 5'6 foot and I know I'm actually not seriously underweight but I'm not my ideal weight because I'm a very active dancer and I am destroying my muscle with fat! I weighed 93 pounds then I started eating liquorice and chips and pop and stuff and now my weight berries from 95 - 99 pounds and I want to get back to 93... I'm going to the gym tomorrow and I just got back from a walk... but what confuses my is that I was also on another 2 hour one walk and I had a salad but I weigh more than before I went for the walk... I normally eat Very healthy but I've been going to a lot of parties and been eating too much junk food! I love dancing but I'm losing muscle to fat and I know I'm still under weight but I'm just like depressed about losing muscle and I would really like to loose 5 pounds!

And some advice to you... go to Hot yoga it burns fat like crazy! (I would go but I have a heart condition witch doesn't permit me to go) so you if anyone has any suggestions on how I can quickly replace some of the fat with muscle then tell me please! And eating healthy is key! I usually drink Lots of water, and celery and watermelon because celery and water mellon is mostly water it's like a safe water cleanse because your still getting vitamins and minerals! Also they to limit carbs but DO NOT cut them out completely because you still need some! And cut down on the red meats! SO you that's my advice to you... if anyone knows how to loose 3 pounds but staying strong tell me please! (I would like more abbs and leg muscle for dance... I have a lot but I could use more!) Thanks!
