What courses are you taking? College? High school?
First year of A levels.
I'm in the US and have no idea what that means.
Does your school offer tutors, or is there another student who will tutor you? I'd throw this problem at a teacher I like and ask for help. Or go to the principal (headmaster?).
Sounds like you've had quite the rough patch! This does make studying and life more difficult.
I would start by setting weekly study goals for yourself. What do you need to accomplish in your studying in the next week and the next month?
Write each assignment or studying session that you need to do. Then decide on a specific time to do it. Preferably, you will want to get started on the studying right after writing down your goals.
Then go to it. Provide rewards for yourself. If there is something that you really like to do, just schedule some studying time before it. Make that thing you like to do your reward for studying for 30 or 60 minutes.
Then you have something to look forward to for completing your studying.
The best time to start is right now. So write down what it is you need to study, when you are going to do the studying for the week, and then start now.
I have also found that it is important to be away from things that distract you. I have found that the internet is a big distraction for me, so I shouldn't be near a computer with the internet when it comes time to study. If something is distracting to you, then find another place to study!
I hope this helps you and good luck with your studying!
