We have a 13 seer 2.5 ton '06 model Goodman heat pump we have been servicing for 3hrs and no matter what the charge is the system will only put out minimal heat. The liquid line only gets luke warm. I be leave it is a bad compressor valve. Replaced revering valve no change checked pistons clean.

1.How did the unit run in cool mode in the summer time?
2. Package unit or split?
3.If split did you replace both outdoor unit and air handler.
4. any idea what suction (big one) line temp is llike while liquid line is lukewarm?
5. dumb question but the liquid line filter dryer is bi flow right?
