Soap won't come out of the stainless steal pump. It pumps soap to the white tubing but won't come out. I tried soaking it in hot water but still won't work.

You have started with the smart approach, soaking should soften the soap and you might clear it out. If that fails you can replace just the plastic stem for less than $9. Moen Parts

Call Moen @ 1800BUYMOEN and ask them to send you out a replacement pump. Replacement and shipping should be free as moen has a lifetime warranty on all parts that I know of... :)

I called Moen . Soap dispensers are NOT covered under their warranty. I tried to put a long stem inside to clean it out but its shaped like an elbow & can't get down to the stem . Also I can't get a replacement because its discontinued item. I was told the top stainless piece is NOT universal. I would need to replace the entire unit. Their sending me out a pump to see if that works but I'm sure its NOT the pump. Soap is clogged for some reason inside or a spring (?) Isn't working. Any other suggestions?

There aren't many parts to this soap dispensor. So Iguess soaking didn't help, right? The part that is like an elbow is the finished spout which can be removed by holding the stem in your hand while you twist the spout counterclockwise. They warrant their other soap dispensors but I did wonder about their limited warranty boiler plate language. Moen Black soap/lotion dispensers - 3916BLHow are you sure it is not the pump. There isn't much else that moves in this set up.

Its all one solid stainless steal piece.. it doesn't come apart. Its impossible to put a wire inside.. The warranty on soap dispenser is 1 year. Their considered an accessories. I spoke to Moen.
